Zoom Factory sell Hot Cams Shims individually, in sizes 7.48mm and 9.48mm diameter and in thicknesses of 1.20mm to 3.50mm in increaments of  0.05mm. Call us with the size of shims you require and we will send them in the next post.

Let us take the hassel out of re-shimming your valves.Just provide us with  your valve clearance measurments, and the size of your old valve shims, and we will send you new shims of the correct size by return of post. If the sizes on your old shims  are not readable, then just send them to us, labeling whether inlet or exhaust, and we will measure them and send them back with the correctly sized new ones.

It is VERY important for the valve clearances to be set correctly, and for that clearance to be maintained for consistent performance and maximum component life.  A tight valve clearance is more likely to burn the valve due to combustion gases leaking past under high pressures.  A loose valve causes the valve seat and valve sealing face to wear due to excessive valve closing velocities.  when setting up the engine its important to get the clearances as close to perfect as possible and then maintain those clearances.
