JD Ignitions are designed to provide the optimum power curve for race conditions .

The ignition unit is supplied pre-programmed with two power curves.

Curve 1. provides maximum performance for perfect race conditions.

Curve 2. provides a softer curve for tricky conditions or less experianced riders.

The standard power curves were developed from the results of extensive Dyno and Track testing to provide the ultimate power for European track conditions and fuel octane levels.

JD ignitions are distributed in the USA by Pro Circuit and are used by their satelite teams. The American products are programmed with a slightly different power curve to suit American fuel and track conditions. 

JD ignitions are re-programmable, using the JD Racing Ignitions software. However we recommend that you only modify the standard curve if you have technical support or experience.
